Shabbat Dinner Benefitting Kibbutz Kfar Azza

We’ll gather for a delicious Shabbat meal lovingly prepared by local chef Claudette, who proposed the idea of partnering together to raise money for Israel.  West End Temple is proud to be supporting Kibbutz Kfar Azza.  Kibbutz Kfar Azza is close to the West End Family as Rabbi Epstein spent time there. Kibbutz Kfar Azza suffered heavy losses in the devastating attacks of October 7th, and the entire nation of Israel is standing by it and its heroic residents in the most difficult hours. The goal of this fund is to help locate the missing and kidnapped, help families with all their physical and mental health needs and restore the beloved kibbutz.  Kfar Azza was established in 1957, on the border of the Gaza Strip. Its members, since then, generations of sons and daughters of the kibbutz, contributed and fought for its borders from its first day.  This fund was opened at the most difficult of times for the kibbutz, when its residents are all evacuated and it is not yet clear when they will be able to return to their homes.  This fund is to fully respond to all the needs of the members for today and generations to come.
