Join Us!

You are welcome here.

At West End Temple, our doors are open to those looking to explore their Jewish journey in our warm and welcoming, intergenerational community. From our beautiful Shabbat Services, to our meaningful Torah study, excellent religious school, and festive holiday celebrations, West End Temple offers a compelling Judaism; a place to explore the rich meaning of Jewish tradition; a place that inspires us and energizes our lives. We warmly invite you to join us for Shabbat and holiday services and for our various events and programs that we offer throughout the year, regardless of your membership status.

We hope you will become an official member.

We hope that upon experiencing the warmth of our community and the meaning that can be found in participating, you will decide to become an official member of our Temple.  As a member, you will be able to fully participate in all aspects of our community.

  • You will receive high holiday tickets as part of your membership contribution.
  • You will be able to serve on our Temple committees and participate in Temple leadership.
  • You will have the ability to work with Rabbi Epstein for rabbinic officiation of important life cycle rituals, including baby namings, b’nai mitzvah, weddings, and funerals, and Rabbi Epstein will be available to you for pastoral counseling.
  • You will be able to remember your loved ones in perpetuity through our yahrzeit list and memorial plaques, giving them eternal life.
  • You will know that your membership dollars are sustaining an organization that provides spiritual meaning and a compelling touchstone for not only its members, but for the community-at-large.

Membership dues.

Membership dues are a critical part of the Temple budget.  Dues ensure that we are able to operate, sustain our building, and provide meaningful programs and services throughout the year.  By making a membership contribution, you will know that your funds are upholding an institution with a critical purpose: building Jewish life for the future, perpetuating Jewish values, and sustaining our community.

If, after considering our dues structure, you feel that paying full membership dues will not be possible, you may have an exceedingly private conversation with our Temple president or Vice President to discuss a dues reduction.

Please contact Rabbi Epstein to receive more information about membership, by calling 718 634 0301, or emailing .

To request a membership form, please contact Kate Kuhn, Office Coordinator, by calling 718 634 0301, or emailing .
